Being true to my Brooklyn roots I have to mention 2 Brooklyn brothers that I'm proud to call friends. Jimmy and Peter Pallis of ANAKA. Brothers that together started a Heavy Metal band that brings down the house every single show they play. Anaka played a big role in my photography. I started shooting them a few years ago. Because of them and the opportunity to shoot one of their live shows, I found what I'd like to think is my calling with regards to photography. I absolutely LOVE to shoot concerts. Thanks to Jimmy and Pete having me shoot their lives shows, has brought me some unforgettable times shooting concerts. I've been lucky enough to be in the pit shooting FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, HATEBREED, V.O.D., BIOHAZARD, ALL THAT REMAINS, and a bunch of other great bands that I might not have had the opportunity to shoot otherwise. There'll be plenty more about those bands in upcoming blog posts, as well as photos. And a BIG THANKS goes out to my buddy Camaro Joe who introduced me to Jimmy and Pete. If it wasn't for the fateful night in the Gramercy Theater in New York City...
